As a general rule, Shire Fighter Practises are held on Sunday afternoons at the home of Lady Maya and Lord Petros in Winder, GA. Check the Shire Yahoo Groups List for times and specific dates. Fighter's and non-fighters alike are welcome.
For those who don't know the way...
Directions from Atlanta & environs - via I-85
Go North out of Atlanta on I-85 to exit #126 (Winder / Hwy-211) turn right.
Go about 6 miles to Rockwell Church Road (at red light) turn left. NOTE: Be careful there a couple of sharp turns on Rockwell Church Road!
Go about 7 miles to the first 4-way stop (Hwy-11 / Winder-Jefferson Hwy) turn right.
Go about 1 mile to Arrowhatchee Dr. – turn right (if you pass a large Baptist church on the left, you went too far).
Go one block to Allen Circle turn left.
We are on the left @ 674 Allen Circle.
Directions from Atlanta & environs via Ga-316
Go North out of Atlanta on I85 to GA 316 follow GA 316 (right two or three lanes) towards Athens.
Go to GA-53 (at red light) turn left.
Go straight thru downtown Winder to the fork in the road (Hwy 53 and Hwy 211) take the right fork following Hwy 211.
Go about 1 mile to Arrowhatchee Dr. turn left.
Go one block to Allen Circle turn left.
We are on the left @ 674 Allen Circle.
