From the Desk of the Seneschal
Greetings Friend and welcome to the web pages of the Shire of Beau Fort. I am Lady Sorcha inghean Ghregoir, the Seneschal of the Shire of Beau Fort.
For those who are new to the Society for Creative Anachronism or S.C.A., the Seneschal is the administrative contact and mundane legal representative for the Shire. If you are interested in joining our Shire or looking for more information about our hobby, let me direct you to the Newcomers guidebook. Our Chatelaine is also available to assist newcomers with any questions they may have before attending our events. Please don't hesitate to contact me...we look forward to meeting you and your family.
Our Shire is centered in Gainesville, Georgia and gathers at least twice a month for Business and Arts & Sciences meetings where we study life in the middle ages. All who have interest in our studies are welcome to attend our meetings and events. All of our meetings are open to the general public and we encourage you to come and join us. As a 501(c)3 Educational non-profit we are also available to assist your group with Demonstrations and information about our various periods of study. Please contact our Demo Officer for more information on how we can assist you.
